Disability Inclusion Bill 2017 (draft)

The Disability Inclusion Bill sets the agenda for state government in the environment created by the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The Bill has a focus on improving access and inclusion in the community for people with disability. Additionally, it provides important quality and safeguarding measures including worker screening and the community visitor scheme.

A process of engagement was undertaken in June 2017 to seek feedback on the draft Disability Inclusion Bill. The State Government's YourSAy website was the primary platform used to engage the public, as well as community meetings and an invitation for written submissions to be provided.
