Information privacy refers to individual's right to exercise some control and influence over the way information about them is collected, used, stored and disclosed.
The Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) is committed to protection of people's privacy. All DCSI staff and agencies are bound by the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) Instruction issued as Premier and Cabinet Circular No. 12. This document contains the Privacy Principles which guide the collection, use, disclosure and handling of personal information.
