Minister for Youth, Zoe Bettison said:
National Youth Week is an opportunity to celebrate young people and their important contribution to our community.
I encourage organisations to talk to young people in their local community about how they would like to see National Youth Week celebrated in 2017, and apply for a grant to host the event.
National Youth Week 2017 will have a particular focus on wellbeing and encouraging all young people to feel good about themselves, their decisions and life choices.
I encourage eligible organisations to show their support for young people by hosting an event during National Youth Week 2017.
