Nominations now open for Premier’s Certificate of Recognition

Nominations are now open for the Premier's Certificate of Recognition which acknowledges outstanding volunteer achievement and community service.

Volunteers Minister Zoe Bettison said the Premier's Certificate provides an opportunity to recognise, thank and celebrate the significant contributions of South Australians who selflessly donate their time, skills and energy to help others.

"I encourage organisations across South Australia to honour the outstanding contributions of their volunteers by nominating them for this certificate," she said.

"Individual nominations are a wonderful way to pay tribute to people who have made a particular contribution.

"Group nominations are equally important and recognise the work of those who come together to make a difference."

To be eligible, nominated volunteers must have made a significant contribution to the South Australian community, demonstrating leadership and an ongoing commitment to volunteering.

Applications will remain open until 5pm on Friday 1 April 2016. For more information, guidelines and nomination forms, visit the Office for Volunteers website at
