Youth Week 2018

2018-04-12

SA Youth Week 2018 is all about how best to help our young people thrive and create their own futures.

SA Youth Week (13 to 22 April) is the biggest annual event on the youth calendar. It is coordinated by the Department of Human Services, and this year’s theme is Your Future – Your Way.

The theme highlights young people’s role in shaping their lives and, in doing so, shaping directions for South Australia. SA Youth Week emphasises the value of young people’s ideas, skills and resilience in local communities, and champions the benefits that their wide variety of unique backgrounds, interests, identities and perspectives can bring to the South Australian community.

Youth Week aims to inspire young people to achieve their goals in ways that suit their unique circumstances and needs.

Activities and events held across the state highlight the significant contributions young people make to their local community and to South Australia more broadly.

Events, activities and celebrations will be held in metropolitan, regional and rural areas to allow as many young South Australians as possible to take part.
