Legislative review process

The South Australian Law Reform Institute (SALRI) has undergone an extensive process of review and continues to work on recommendations for legal reform. Upon completion of these reviews, SALRI provide its report to the Government for evaluation and implementation, including the endorsement of Cabinet and the preparation of amendment legislation. While some matters can be straight forward, some are more complex and have required further research, evaluation and consultation before reform options can be tabled in the Parliament.
