Department for Communities and Social Inclusion

Background

Since 2009, the Human Services Partnership Forum (HSPF) has provided a formal mechanism for government and the not-for-profit health and community services sector to work in collaboration to shape public policy and service development in South Australia. HSPF members, who are at executive-level within their organisation, represent the government and community services sector in South Australia and have shared responsibility for relevant policies and programs.

The HSPF gives life to the Stronger Together principles by debating and deciding the specific projects, activities, and policy changes that will best work towards the overall goal of improving health and wellbeing for all South Australians. The HSPF also has a governance and oversight role, measuring the outcomes of those projects and activities using the population indicators outlined in Stronger Together.
